I treat video gaming as any other hobby; it is an enjoyable … that I can do to pass the time. With games like Call of Duty I can play for few minutes at a time and it can relieve stress but games like Skyrim I can play for hours and have as much fun engrossing myself in that world as some people do in our own the only difference is I am in the comfort of my own house.
below is a list of consoles i have -
- Playstation 1
- Playstation 2
- Playstatio 4
- Xbox
- Xbox 360
- Xbox One
Video games as a hobby is often a controversial subject, society and the media have a serious distrust for those of us who game thanks to a few bad examples that show gaming in a bad light.
While the majority of my gaming is console based I also own a gaming pc which I use for some other titles such as SimCity 4 and Cities Skylines which are both city building games, these I find very enjoyable as they are like puzzles without a picture, you never know what your city will look like and in later stages of these games you find yourself trying to plan efficient transit routes while keeping taxes down to keep citizens happy. These games above all else occupy my thoughts and I often deign suburbs to find the most efficient layout while still looking good.
